The Parade of Homes Fall Remodelers Showcase is only a week away, and we can’t wait to share this renovated Roseville Rambler! Read on below to learn more about this exciting project and get a peek inside. We hope to see you there sometime between October 2nd-4th!

Parade of Homes Fall Remodelers Showcase
October 2-4, from 12-6 PM

R33 – 919 Parker Ave W, Roseville

The owners of this charming Roseville Ramber were ready for a change; they had an ambitious wish-list that included gutting and restructuring their entire main level. After meeting and discussing the owners’ desire to age-in-place, our project goals were to open up the floorplan, improve the kitchen, and move the laundry room to the main level.

One fun highlight of this remodel was discovering a little history inside the walls. The home was initially built in the 1930s, and while opening up walls, we found newspaper lining dating back to the 20s! We loved seeing all of the vintage ads and articles that were hidden inside the walls.

A Few of Our Favorite Design Details:

  • We usually recommend gas fireplaces, but with this tight floorplan, we didn’t have the depth to install one in the cozy living space. This electric fireplace from Fireside Hearth and Home is a great option if you don’t have a lot of room or don’t want to deal with complicated venting. Not to mention, the look and feel of electric fireplaces have come a long way!
  • The second features we love are the Delta Faucet and glass vessel sink from KOHLER in the guest bathroom. The fun colors and shapes really jazz up this space.
  • Finally, we also love the red pendants that add a perfect pop of color in the kitchen!
