Craftsman Exterior Renovation in Dellwood

Today, we're excited to share this beautiful craftsman-style exterior renovation in Dellwood, Minnesota. After previously remodeling the interior of their home, these homeowners wanted the outside to reflect the same craftsman style.Aside from updating its facade, these clients wanted to expand their home. Together, we planned an ambitious addition that increased the square footage of the garage, mudroom, and powder bath, while also making everything more accessible for working and playing outside.To add visual interest to the plain exterior, we added more contrast and decorative accents. We wanted the home to make a memorable first impression! From the unique garage doors to the charming new craftsman pillars, everything is carefully balanced to look sophisticated and understated.Our design team's favorite element of this project was the new siding. We love the way the LP Siding and Shakes (and Andersen Windows) create interest and contrast when paired together.
